In addition to the arrival of Maxime Carmignac as head of the Carmignac Market Neutral fund, the asset management firm, whose headquarters are located on the place Vendôme in Paris, has announced the arrival of Charles Zerah as a fixed income manager. Zerah, 36, was previously head of all emerging markets fixed income management at CAAM, in the team led by Bruno Crastes in London. Zerah will arrive in Paris in March 2010, and will take over as head of the Carmignac Global Bond fund, whose results were particularly disappointing in 2009: the fund lost 12.39%.
