THE KEY TO UNLOCKING FINANCING IN EUROPE ?

WHY ATTEND

  • It’ll be different: Crisp. Candid. Newsworthy.
  • The CMU is the EU’s biggest project since the euro. Prepare its impact on your business.

WHY THE CMU SUMMIT

To crack the credit crunch and kick-start investment in Europe, the European Commission published its Action Plan for a Capital Markets Union (CMU) in September. Due to be completed by 2019, the CMU is the EU’s most ambitious financial project since the euro.
On February 2, 2016, POLITICO and L’AGEFI will combine political savvy with financial smarts for an in-depth conversation on the practical and political implications of the CMU in Europe - and what it means for you.

WHAT WE’LL ASK

  • Can the CMU free up financing in Europe?
  • How will it impact the role of regulators and market players?
  • Will it kick-start investment in SMEs and infrastructure projects?
  • Does the CMU signify the roll-back of post-crisis legislation ?

WHO YOU’LL MEET

  • SECTORS: Regulators, policymakers, institutional investors, pension funds, insurance companies, corporates, banks, asset managers, private equity, clearing houses, stock exchanges, investment companies, trade associations...
  • JOB TITLES: CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CROs, CIOs, Heads of ABS, Heads of Structured Finance, Heads of European Portfolio Management, Heads of Corporate Bonds, Heads of Fixed-Income, Funds, Heads of Public Affairs, General Counsel...
